Tbilisi
This tour includes several hikes on unpaved paths and leads to heights of up to 3000. The weather in the mountains is changeable and difficult to predict. Sturdy, ankle-high shoes with a profile, comfortable trekking pants and a windproof rain jacket are required.
Gudauri ski resort is the largest and most modern ski resort in Georgia, with a well-developed infrastructure that includes the highest level of access in Georgia, with limitless opportunities for freestyle and skiing in an open environment. In winter, as the snow arrives, Gudauri becomes a spectacular destination with breathtaking ski runs, glistening suns and spectacular views make for the perfect vacation spot. , there are 14 ski-lifts in total and most of them are built by the well-known Austrian company Dopelmaier. The lower ski-lift is located at an altitude of 1993 meters and higher one is located at an altitude of 3276 meters.
Gudauri ski slopes are for all levels of skiers. The riding tracks are mainly of 4 different types: beginner, intermediate, experienced and professional.
Meet in Tbilisi at 8:00 a.m. and transfer to Gudauri Ski Resort—approximately 2 two-hour drive. We will check in to the hotel and will go for a ski tour at Mount Bidara.
After breakfast, we will drive to Village Mleta. The drive will take about 30 min. From the Village, we will continue by Skies to Lomisa monastery where we will meet local monks. After some rest in the monastery, we will ski down from the same side to the village of Mleta.
After breakfast, we will drive to Cross Pass. The journey time is about 30 minutes by car. From here we continue our Skitouring. It will take about 4 hours to reach the Ridge of Dedaena about 3200 Meters. From the Ridge, we can Ski down to the Jvari Pass side. About 900 vertical meters.
After Breakfast, we will drive to ameba church (2200 m). The drive will take about 1 hour.
From the Sameba we will start our ski tour to the Green hut located at 3020m (About 3 hours). In the hut, we will have lunch. After lunch, we can ski tour to Gergeti Glacier (3200 m. -3300 m) and ski back to the Green Hut.
After breakfast, we will start ski touring to Mount Ortsvery Pass (4100 m). It will take about 4-5 hours of ski touring. From 3200 till 4100 we will ski tour on the Geregeti glacier.
Ski touring On Arsha Pass ( 3700 m) and ski down to Sameba church. From Sameba we will drive to Tbilisi and it will take about 3.5 hour
